3R Living, Future Fiendly Products
Samantha Delman-Caserta and Mark Caserta opened their Brooklyn store in Spring 2004. Samantha’s retail experience and Mark's background working on environmental issues inspired 3r Living, a home decor and lifestyle store dedicated to “"Future Friendly Products." In October 2007, they opened their second store in Maplewood, New Jersey, with Samantha's sister Tracy Ferdinand.
The products that you’ll find in both their stores and online are carefully selected with the principles of reducing waste, reusing unwanted or discarded materials, and recycling in mind. Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. 3r.
We know that today, unlike in 2004 when we opened, there are lots of stores and web sites that sell quality “eco-friendly products. So, why should you choose 3r Living over all of the others?:
Hands On: If you live in the New York City/New Jersey area, 3r Living provides you with an opportunity to touch, feel, smell and try the green products in our stores. You will be more confident making the leap to "green" when you can try our products for yourself. We're just a small, family-owned local store, at heart, with a lot of reach, online. So, if you're in the area of our two stores, stop in, say hi and do a little shopping.
Experience: Samantha, Mark, Tracy and their staff have a lot of experience with buying, selling, using and evaluating green products. In fact, they have used many of the products that are sold in their stores and online! That means that you can be confident that the products sold by 3r Living are safe and of high quality.
