Who runs this

One Earth is operated by Matt Ventures, LLC. The site is a directory of places to drop things off, refill, repair, and shop with a lighter footprint.

The listings are a guide

Hours, what a site accepts, and whether it is open all change. Check with the place before you go. A listing is not an endorsement, a partnership, or a promise that the place will take what you bring.

Accounts

You can browse without an account. If you sign in, you can save places and send in new ones. You are responsible for the account you use to sign in.

What you send in

Submit a real place, in a city and category the site already lists, with an address you can stand behind. Nothing goes on the public map until an editor approves it. We can edit, reject, or remove a listing at any time.

You keep ownership of what you write. You give Matt Ventures, LLC permission to display it on One Earth, including the name, address, description, and website you provide.

Don't misuse the site

Don't submit a place you know is false, don't post anything you don't have the right to share, and don't try to break, scrape in bulk, or overload the site.

Maps and other sites

The map is there to help you find a place. A directions link leaves One Earth and opens Google Maps, under Google's own terms.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. The directory will be incomplete, and a pin can be wrong. To the extent the law allows, Matt Ventures, LLC is not liable for what you do with a listing, or for a place that is closed, full, or not what the card said.

Changes

We can update the site and these terms. The date at the top is the version that applies. If you keep using One Earth after a change, these terms are the ones you're using.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
